The Justrite 893000 Sure-Grip EX fireproof steel safety cabinet stores up to 30 gallons of flammable and hazardous materials. The welded 18-gauge steel cabinet has two doors that close manually and measures 44 x 43 x 18 inches/1,118 x 1,092 x 457 mm (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the distance from front to back.) The cabinet has a paddle handle with U-lock padlock and a three-point self-latching locking system. An adjustable galvanized steel shelf holds a safe allowable load of 350 lb./159 kg and slopes toward the rear of the cabinet, directing spills to a 2ΓÇ¥/51 mm sump. Double-walled construction with 1.5ΓÇ¥/38 mm of insulating air space between walls improves fire resistance. The cabinet has two 2ΓÇ¥ vents with flame arresters, and a reflective trilingual warning label with the legend ΓÇ£Flammable: Keep Fire AwayΓÇ¥ in English, Spanish, and French.
The Justrite 893000 cabinet has a three-point self-latching locking system with stainless steel bullet latches and comes with two sets of keys. Yellow powder paint finish on the inside and outside of the cabinet provides chemical resistance. Four adjustable feet allow the cabinet to be leveled. A built-in grounding connector prevents build-up of static electricity, which can ignite fumes. The cabinet meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard 29 CFR 1910.106 and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code 30, and is approved by FM Global (FM). The shelf meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard MH28.1. When used according to manufacturerΓÇÖs recommendations, this product is covered by a 10-year warranty against defects in workmanship or materials.
